WORK WITH ME
Therapy for Teenagers
in California
Online throughout California and in-person in Vacaville — for teenage girls navigating the experience of figuring out who they are.
The pressure is real, therapy can help
Being a teenager is hard — harder than many adults remember.
The pressure to achieve, fit in, and know who you are before you've had a chance to figure it out is overwhelming. Many teens struggle with anxiety, a desire to fit in, or feeling unsure of who they are.
Therapy for teenagers gives girls a space to slow down, get curious, and start making sense of what's happening inside — without the pressure to perform or have it all figured out.
WORK WITH ME
A space that's genuinely hers
This is a warm, welcoming space for teenage girls to slow down, be honest, and start to better understand themselves.
I work with teenage girls in a way that's depth-oriented, somatic, and parts-aware. This means we get curious about her inner world rather than trying to manage her behavior. We pay attention to what's happening in her body, not just her thoughts. We explore the different parts of her with compassion.
I’m also a mother of three who have all navigated adolescence, so I bring both clinical training and a real understanding of what these years ask of a young person and her family.
Online therapy for teens is available throughout California via a secure telehealth platform. In-person sessions are available in Vacaville, CA.
HOW TEEN THERAPY WORKS
We'll start with a vibe check
The first step is a free 10-minute consultation. This conversation gives you and your daughter a chance to ask questions, get a feel for my approach, and decide if this feels right.
01
We'll go beneath the surface
In our sessions, we'll slow down and get curious about what's actually happening underneath the anxiety, shutting down, or the not-quite-knowing.
02
We'll move at a pace that honors you
Some things take time to surface, and we won't rush that. Therapy works best when a teenager feels genuinely safe. We’ll go at the pace that's right for her.

Therapy is a good fit for teenagers struggling with anxiety, identity, self-worth, or relationships. It's also a good fit for girls navigating bigger experiences like family changes, loss, or trauma. As with adults, most teenagers can benefit from therapy.

Therapy with me is depth-oriented, somatic, and trauma-informed. In our sessions, your daughter will have space to talk through what she's experiencing. We'll also pay attention to what's happening in her body, not just her thoughts. We use Internal Family Systems to get curious about her different parts and patterns.

In California, people 12 years and older can consent to their own outpatient therapy. This means your teen is entitled to a degree of privacy in our sessions. That privacy is part of what makes the work effective. Teens open up when they trust the space is genuinely theirs.
That said, you stay involved. I share general themes, how your teen is doing, and any safety concerns. If your child is ever at risk of harm, I'll always let you know. What stays private are the day-to-day details your teen shares in confidence.
Before we begin, we'll all agree together on how communication works so both you and your teen know exactly what to expect from the start.

Yes. In California, teens 12 and older have a right to privacy in their therapy sessions. I treat parents as partners, looping you in on themes, progress, and anything concerning, while protecting the trust that makes therapy effective for a teenager.

Weekly sessions tend to work best for teenagers. Consistent, regular contact builds the trust and momentum that makes this work effective, especially for young people who are in the thick of figuring things out.

Sessions are self-pay and cost $250. I do have a small number of sliding-scale spots available at times.
